About The Position

The Associate Manager Production plays a key role in overseeing daily operations within the manufacturing facility. This position supports the Production Manager in coordinating production activities, optimizing processes, and ensuring product quality while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Associate Manager will lead a team of production staff, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals.

Requirements

Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate in English and possess basic reading and writing skills to effectively understand and complete work-related documents, safety protocols, and instructions.
High School Diploma Required
5+ years experience in manufacturing setting
1+ year management experience in manufacturing setting or similar setting

Responsibilities

Assist in managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring that production schedules are met on time and within budget.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Supervise and train production staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular inspections of production areas and processes, addressing any issues promptly.
Identify areas for process optimization and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels to ensure efficient production flow and minimize stockouts.
Coordinate with the supply chain team to facilitate timely procurement of materials.
Prepare and analyze production reports, providing insights on performance metrics and identifying trends for management review.
Participate in production planning meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Support compliance with industry regulations and standards, including food safety and sanitation practices.
Responsible for all applicable Company procedures and policies, including Mondelez Quality Policies.
Responsible to ensure compliance with FDA, SQF, New York State and other regulatory requirements, to assure food safety & quality.
Other related duties as assigned.
