We are looking for a Data Engineering Lead to design and deliver scalable data pipelines and data products that enable rapid integration of acquired company data into enterprise analytics. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership—partnering closely with analytics, product, and business teams to deliver trusted, analytics-ready data at scale. A key focus of this role is accelerating M&A integration, enabling rapid onboarding of acquired company data into existing data products. This includes fast-tracking the consolidation of disparate source systems into standardized, production-grade datasets through well-orchestrated pipelines that are continuously assessed for quality, reliability, and governance compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring that newly acquired data assets are quickly integrated, validated, and made available for reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making.

Requirements

  • Python, SQL, Apache Spark (PySpark)
  • BigQuery, GCS, or similar cloud-based data stores
  • dbt or equivalent tools for standardized data modeling
  • Data testing frameworks, reconciliation approaches, monitoring and alerting
  • Airflow / Cloud Composer or equivalent
  • Git, CI/CD for pipelines
  • Experience with integration platforms and patterns (e.g., REST APIs, event-driven architectures, message queues, iPaaS solutions such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or equivalent)
  • Schema enforcement, data contracts, access controls

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience supporting M&A integrations or multi-entity consolidation efforts
  • Familiarity with enterprise source systems (ERP, supply chain, finance, SaaS platforms)
  • Experience with data harmonization across inconsistent schemas and business definitions
  • Exposure to real-time data ingestion or event-driven architectures
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Looker)

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain batch and streaming pipelines to integrate data from acquired companies into existing data products
  • Drive rapid M&A data consolidation, including: Assessing source systems from acquired entities (ERP, WMS, SaaS, etc.), Defining mapping, transformation, and standardization logic, Accelerating time-to-production for integrated datasets
  • Oversee data product development ensuring appropriate architecture patterns & guardrails are enforced in a measurable manner.
  • Implement and enforce data quality checks, reconciliation processes, and validation frameworks to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Establish repeatable integration patterns and templates to scale across multiple acquisitions
  • Own orchestration and pipeline reliability, ensuring integrations are resilient, monitored, and continuously improved
  • Partner with analytics, BI, and business teams to deliver consistent, analytics-ready datasets across legacy and acquired entities
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers on integration design covering application integrations and data products
