About The Position

The Associate Logistics Specialist / Lab Assistant position is a 100% on-site contract role located in West Point, PA, with a duration of 17 weeks and 5 days (over 4 months) and a pay rate of $21 per hour on W2. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate records and managing the logistics of lab instruments and assets. Responsibilities include updating data records for instrument delivery and installation, collaborating with Client Capital Asset Stewards for precise instrument tagging, and coordinating the transfer and removal of assets to and from client sites. The individual must also ensure continuous training and compliance with health, safety, security, environmental, and operational protocols within the research laboratory setting. The working environment is a research laboratory, which can be fast-paced with high job completion demands and potential exposure to various lab-based hazards including chemicals, biologicals, potent compounds, research materials, and high temperatures.

Requirements

• Associates degree OR High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in Lab Environment.

Responsibilities

• Updates data records to ensure complete and accurate visibility to instrument delivery and installation data.
• Collaborate with Client Capital Asset Stewards to ensure accurate instrument tagging.
• Coordinate the removal as well as transfer of assets to and from Client sites.
• Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment.
