About The Position

Your challenges Work together with internal and external stakeholders to make Eppendorf goods move throughout the world. Responsible for inbound and outbound shipment issues, such as BOL correction, accessorial charge approval, customer refusals, etc. Working with Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers and Carriers on Export shipments regarding booking export orders and setting up pickup appointments and delivery appointments Collaborate with internal departments ensure shipments move expeditiously and according to EAR and Customer documentation requirements Obtain and compare freight quotes for LTL, FTL or parcel shipments Creation of export documentation abiding by EAR – Commercial / Proforma Invoice, SLI, Letter of Credit processing, Export Licenses Maintain export files according to EAR and record the customer’s requirements in the customer’s file Assist the Distribution team with routing guide questions, shipping system issues, etc. Your expertise High school diploma; 2+ years related experience and/or training in transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years related experience and/or training in transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding.
  • Experience with international shipments and customs regulations
  • Knowledge of an ERP system, preferably SAP
  • Attention to detail
  • Team mentality
