We are seeking a Legal Operations Associate to join the Legal Operations team within the Legal & Compliance COO Team. The role will be located in the Atlanta or Princeton Office and will report into the Global Head of Legal Ops and Business Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in legal operations, project management, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal technology tools and software, specifically experience with CounselLink E-billing platform preferred.
  • Highly proficient in excel.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with all word products with an emphasis on Excel functionality
  • Experience using CounselLink E-billing platform is preferred
  • Strong Problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Strong Organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently but understand when to escalate issues

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into legal operations and metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the legal department.
  • Leverage legal technology tools to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
  • Assist in managing legal projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in legal operations and recommend innovative solutions
  • work closely with internal stakeholders and external parties (e.g., vendors, outside counsel)
