About The Position

The Associate Landscape Account Manager supports the planning, coordination, and overall success of assigned client properties by assisting with landscape management, client communication, and enhancement opportunities. This entry-to-mid-level role works closely with Account Managers, production teams, and clients to help maintain beautiful, healthy landscapes while delivering excellent customer service. The Associate Landscape Account Manager develops horticultural knowledge, client management skills, and operational experience while contributing to client satisfaction, team collaboration, and enhancement sales growth.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, customer service, or related field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with technology, including CRM and mobile applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Plant identification and irrigation knowledge preferred.
  • Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with regular garden walks on assigned properties alongside the Garden Manager.
  • Observe landscape conditions and identify maintenance, irrigation, or enhancement needs.
  • Maintain accurate notes, photographs, and activity logs within company systems.
  • Occasionally perform light horticultural or landscape maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Create and communicate picture punch lists to document property concerns, client requests, or follow-up items for maintenance crews.
  • Support proactive communication with clients regarding property updates, service schedules, and recommendations.
  • Respond to client communication professionally and promptly while following company communication standards.
  • Support the care and maintenance of client properties with attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Learn client preferences and assist in developing seasonal property care recommendations.
  • Document property updates, client requests, and service notes in the CRM system daily.
  • Identify basic enhancement opportunities such as seasonal color, plant replacements, mulch, irrigation adjustments, or small landscape improvements.
  • Assist with enhancement estimates, proposal preparation, and project coordination.
  • Collaborate with Garden Managers, Production Managers, and Foremen to resolve issues and improve property performance.
  • Support teammates and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.
  • Attend required team meetings, one-on-ones, safety trainings, and company events.
  • Participate in ongoing horticultural and professional development opportunities.
  • Assist with snow operations during winter months, including property monitoring, shoveling, or crew support as needed.
