This role involves assisting the sales team in promoting and selling surgical glaucoma devices to ophthalmologists, clinics, and surgery centers. The Associate Interventional Glaucoma Sales Representative will build relationships with healthcare professionals by understanding their needs and providing information on how our products can improve patient outcomes. This position will help identify new sales opportunities within the assigned territory and work with sales representatives to effectively manage customer-based inventory, truck stock, and ordering management. Responsibilities include neat, accurate, and timely preparation of paperwork, calmly addressing concerns and complaints of physicians, and completing all required anatomical, clinical, and technology-related training. The role also involves supporting the sales team with surgical case coverage, maintaining direct contact with customers before and after surgical cases, participating in product training, and supporting senior sales representatives in educating healthcare teams. The associate will learn to demonstrate product features and benefits, attend sales training, meetings, conferences, and trade shows, and assist in maintaining relationships with existing customers through excellent customer service and follow-up. Record keeping using CRM, adapting to changing expectations, completing administrative paperwork and reports, and maintaining a professional image are also key aspects of this position. The role requires willingness to travel, staying up-to-date on industry trends, and gathering customer feedback.
