About The Position

The Opportunity As an Associate IAM Administrator, you will be supporting the maintenance and health of our Active Directory. You will be a part of a team that works collaboratively to handle incident responses, administer testing for upgrades as well as all other support and maintenance of the Active Directory. You will have responsibilities related to the overall Enterprise Security through your participation in the implementation and day-to-day support of new applications as it is introduced to the organization. You will have flexible, hybrid work arrangements based out of our downtown Cincinnati, OH office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or at least 3 years of related IT related field
  • IT Support Experience
  • Technical knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Knowledge of command line tools and familiarity with PowerShell
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent requests and maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Must be willing to work off hours during evenings and weekends as required

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of technical education, associate degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT Support, troubleshooting or customer service
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience with command line tools and PowerShell
  • Demonstrate effective coaching and upskilling of peers

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the maintenance and health of Active Directory and Identity Access Management tools
  • Completes a variety of ticket requests and works with other teams to provide exceptional customer service to end users
  • Processes user access requests for a variety of applications and systems while adhering to the company’s Security Standards and Baselines
  • Troubleshooting user and application access issues in our 24x7 enterprise environment.
  • Participates in an on-call rotation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory, password or identity management systems issues.
  • Create and update technical documentation of operating procedures as needed.
  • Serve as a technical expert for Level 1/2/3 support groups.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for access controls as new applications are introduced to the environment
  • Follow and apply configuration and security standards and policies within the company’s defined Change Management process.
  • Able to work with multiple IT initiatives concurrently
  • Participate in semiannual audits on critical systems to determine access is appropriate following financial audit guidelines and work with audit and compliance teams providing data as needed
