About The Position

This role involves analyzing designs and developing basic analog and digital circuits under the guidance of an experienced engineer. The engineer will conduct hardware design reviews, assist in developing hardware specifications, and write and execute test plans, documenting results for peer reviews and project notebooks. The position also requires developing knowledge of SEL engineering processes, following SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles, and providing work estimates for project planning. Requirements

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Responsibilities

Analyze designs and develop basic analog and digital circuits under the direction of an experienced engineer.
Conduct hardware design reviews to demonstrate product and circuit robustness.
Assist in the development of hardware specifications.
Write test plans, execute tests, and document test results for use at peer design reviews and for project notebooks.
Develop knowledge of SEL engineering processes.
Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Provide work estimates to support project planning.
Other duties as assigned.
