Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, this role will help oversee the isolved Legal department by assisting in all manner of legal matters regarding regulatory and industry compliance requirements; data privacy and governance, management of litigation and claims; labor and employment matters; corporate governance; and other related issues. The position is responsible for the Company's compliance requirements as a Human Capital Management technology provider and payroll processor, including obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses. It also involves responsibility for the Company's compliance with its data privacy obligations, including requests for personal data, DSARs, privacy policies, privacy assessments and data processing agreements. The role requires close collaboration with various departments to provide comprehensive legal and compliance support, monitoring changes in laws and regulations, developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures, conducting internal investigations, responding to regulatory inquiries, and creating and delivering privacy training. The Associate General Counsel will also be responsible for how personal information is collected, stored, shared, and transmitted, ensuring compliance with domestic and international law and regulations, assisting in audits and risk assessments, and developing and implementing privacy policies, procedures, and controls. A records retention program must be maintained to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and business requirements, including establishing policies for the creation, classification, storage, retrieval, and disposal of records. The individual will serve as the primary isolved subject matter expert on privacy law and related issues.
