About The Position

This position provides moderately complex technical and administrative support within Gas Operations. The role involves proactively supporting managers, coordinators, designers, planners, technicians, associates, and other personnel in the development and execution of technical and administrative tasks. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers regarding various departments. A general knowledge of distribution, gas and electric emergency work, street lighting, and engineering is expected. The position requires compiling, computing, and verifying information with a high degree of accuracy for various departments. Responsibilities include accessing and effectively resolving complex issues related to contractor field and invoicing performance, as well as auditing and reconciling gas and electric facility information for contractor and company crews. Additionally, the role involves establishing gas and electric (metered and non-metered) accounts for residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal customers to ensure billing accuracy and revenue collection. The position also requires requesting, scheduling, and coordinating with various outside companies to ensure utility work proceeds as scheduled.

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent
