About The Position

The YMCA Youth & Family Services, the social services branch, is seeking a Senior Director/Associate Executive Director to lead operations, people, and programs in alignment with our mission and community impact goals. This role is for a leader who turns strategy into action, builds high-performing teams, and delivers measurable results. At the Y, Social Services Means Community in Action. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of senior or executive leadership experience
• Proven experience overseeing budget and grant management
• Strong leadership in programs, teams, and financial performance
• Ability to connect operations with long-term strategic impact
• Effective relationship builder across diverse stakeholders
• Adaptable, mission-driven mindset

Responsibilities

• Oversee Youth & Family Services operations, ensuring programs and business functions align with priorities and deliver meaningful outcomes.
• Develop and support department leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth grounded in Y values.
• Ensure programs are safe, high-quality, and outcome-driven, with a clear focus on community impact.
• Manage budgets, funding sources, and key metrics, using data to improve performance and respond to evolving needs.
• Cultivate partnerships with members, families, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
• Support branch leadership and contribute to association-wide initiatives, turning goals into action.
