This role involves preparing component drawings and specifications for highly complex electro-optical, opto-mechanical, or electro-mechanical products. The Associate Electrical Engineer will support engineering and purchasing in part and material selection, manage submittals, and interface with labs for testing and interpretation of results. Key responsibilities include communicating technical issues and work status to program engineers, management, and customers, presenting analysis results, and acting as a technical consultant. The role also requires performing technical reviews of supplier documentation to ensure compliance with requirements, and following established procedures under the guidance of senior staff. The position encompasses various engineering disciplines including Digital Engineering, Modem Design, DSP design, Microelectronics Design, RF Engineering, Photonics Engineering, Antenna Engineering, Hardware Design Verification, and Optical Engineering.
