Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology,Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment, collecting and analyzing test date, and communicating those results.
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience through coursework, internships, personal projects, or co-ops involving electronics design, prototyping, soldering, or debugging.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and other electronic test equipment.
  • Interest in laboratory testing and hands-on product development and strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and documentation of electronic control systems for aerospace products.
  • Build, prototype, debug, and evaluate electronic hardware and plan, execute, and document qualification and validation testing.
  • Operate laboratory equipment, collect and analyze test data, and communicate results.
  • Design, build, and maintain electrical test equipment used during product development and manufacturing.
  • Troubleshoot electronic circuits using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and other laboratory equipment and support sustaining engineering activities for products currently in production.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers and technicians.
