About The Position

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop Electrical design for water/wastewater projects. You will develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications. You will function in a technical specialist capacity, performing all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis under general supervision. You will broaden your knowledge and skill set in your area of discipline and may start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas. This role involves continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area, and coordination with regional and global design teams. You will also conduct project studies such as Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and perform construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues. This role will support projects for the Greater Phoenix area and West coast of the US.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
  • Minimum of 1 year related work experience
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 1+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services.
  • Consulting and Water/Wastewater experience preferred.
  • Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus.
