Accurately compose, compile, assimilate and maintain the care, custody, and control of District Court records. Monitor and prioritize work flow to ensure that all work is processed in a timely manner. Attend Court sessions and act as a liaison between the Court and other County departments, law enforcement agencies, attorneys, and the general public as directed by District Clerk policy and management. Determine and assure proper procedures are followed as they affect the tasks required of the position. These jobs duties and responsibilities are to reflect all sections of the District Clerk's Office including Civil, Criminal, and Family. It is not required to know or learn the duties of all sections but rather those applicable to an assigned section.
