About The Position

We're looking for a strategic and dynamic Interim Associate Director of US Integrated Marketing to join our team on a fixed-term basis, covering a maternity leave for a period of 8 months. This role will sit at the intersection of brand strategy, creative storytelling, and cross-channel marketing execution. Responsible for leading high-impact campaigns, this role will play a key part in driving brand relevance and resonance within the US throughout the coverage period. This role leads a team of 4 direct reports across the US Integrated Marketing function. You'll be a key voice in translating business objectives into cohesive, integrated marketing strategies, partnering closely with creative, comms, media and product marketing teams. You'll work cross-functionally and ensure seamless execution of integrated campaigns that scale Bumble's brand across the United States. Your ultimate goal will be to drive brand favorability in the US by designing campaigns based on market needs and performance trends, and identifying opportunities to build and scale our brand while maintaining continuity and momentum across ongoing initiatives during the transition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or Master's is a plus
  • 8–10 years of experience in brand, integrated, or strategic marketing, ideally in consumer tech, lifestyle, or culturally-driven brands
  • A proven track record of launching multi-channel campaigns that drive both emotional connection and measurable results
  • Strong leadership experience overseeing channel leads and guiding overarching strategy
  • Experience in marketing and/or media with deep expertise and understanding of the US market
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
  • Solid understanding of the media landscape, channels, and measurement
  • Strong analytical skills to determine campaign success and market performance
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and pivot accordingly
  • Proven ability to cultivate and lead high-performing teams with empathy, vision, and a commitment to growth and collaboration

  • Experience managing celebrity, talent, influencer, or creator partnerships, including agency relationships, is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategy and integrated go-to-market plans
  • Manage external and internal partners to develop integrated campaigns, spearhead brief writing, provide strategic feedback, review creative assets, develop go-to-market plans and decks, and manage campaign execution, performance analysis, and reports
  • Ensure all campaigns are executed on time and within budget through effective project management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal creative, PR, Media, Product marketing, Partnerships, and Growth teams to drive holistic plans against key market business metrics
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of 4 direct reports across the US Integrated Marketing team, overseeing strategy and ensuring cohesive execution across workstreams
  • Collaborate with our media agency, ensuring strategic alignment, seamless execution, and continuous optimization across paid channels
  • Oversee US influencer and creator workstreams, guiding strategy and day-to-day execution across the team
  • Contribute to Bumble's celebrity, talent, influencer, and creator strategy, partnering with agencies (including UTA) to identify, negotiate, and manage talent partnerships that strengthen Bumble's cultural relevance
  • Build and scale the US creator ecosystem, leading our macro and micro creator strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and authentic conversation around dating on Bumble
  • Serve as day-to-day point of contact for our talent and agency partners, including UTA, ensuring smooth coordination and follow-through on partnership deliverables
  • Partner with Product to bring cultural insights into product strategy, ensuring Bumble's product experiences continue to evolve alongside changing dating behaviors and expectations
  • Be data-driven in all decision-making, monitoring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns on brand awareness and user acquisition
  • Develop and share in-market learnings based on key successes and failures
  • Navigate shifting priorities and weekly pivots with steady judgment and a solutions-first mindset
  • Determine marketing mix and make strategic recommendations on paid media mix
