About The Position

The Associate Director, Strategic Industry & Alumni Engagement develops and executes strategies to strengthen community and alumni engagement, collaboration, and sustainable impact across the Kanbar Institute of Film & Television. Develop and cultivate relationships with alumni, industry professionals, faculty, and other external partners to create career, internship, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for students and recent alumni. Serve as a key liaison between the Institute and the professional community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Arts or entertainment administration, film/media, or related field
• 5+ years in industry relations, career development, business development or film/media industry related field.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful engagement strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategic concepts into executable programs.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively and to identify opportunities for collaboration and growth.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years Strategic partnership building, contract management, data-driven decision making, and cross-discipline project management
• Knowledge of industries relevant to the Kanbar Institute of Film and Television, including business, finance, professional development, and emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with database management systems.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic creative environment.
