This role is unique as this individual will be working directly with Evolent’s Health Plan partners to manage day-to-day account operations while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and regulatory requirements while promoting retention and growth with the client.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent work experience (Required)
  • 2+ or more years in client or account management leadership roles (Required)
  • Ability to find creative solutions in an ever changing and growing environment (Required)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including at the C-level (Required)
  • High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year(s) of specialty UM program experience (Preferred)
  • 4+ years broad-based Health Plan experience (Preferred)
  • Foundational knowledge of Medicare claims framework and key aspects (Preferred)
  • Exceptionally high “Emotional Intelligence” and ability to connect with diverse constituents, actively listen, and identify key areas of sensitivity (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Supporting an assigned book of business strategically to achieve objectives, including relationship, growth, retention, and customer goals.
  • Cultivating productive, trusted relationships with client account leaders and cross functional internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilizing data-driven resources to run efficient/effective meetings and work sessions with the client and all relevant Subject Matter Expert (SME)s
  • Possessing deep subject matter expertise on program value and operations for Evolent’s specialty risk business
  • Leading regular Partnership review, joint operations, clinical spotlight and other adhoc meetings as appropriate for each client
  • Ensuring timely issue identification, action planning and problem resolution,
  • Advocating for partner culture, serving as an ambassador within Evolent as the go-to expert on client priorities and how to get things done within the health plan organization
  • Aggressively managing all aspects of the contracts with assigned clients as well as ensuring ongoing contract performance through risk management activities including assurance of Service Level Agreement performance, rate/savings maximization through ongoing benefit analysis and adherence to requirements of the client’s legal and regulatory environment
