About The Position

Associate Director - Specialized Mortgage Solution is responsible for managing new business and existing relationships to Huntington and the continued development and deepening of the relationships with existing customers. The position requires deep understanding of all aspects of the mortgage ecosystem which include Commercial and Residential Loan Originators/Servicers/Owners and Operators. Extensive product and treasury related expertise to service the industry vertical in all aspects of deposit gathering and day to day maintenance of account structures. The banker will cross-sell and implement products and services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 or more years of experience in an administrative role within Commercial Banking and/or Mortgage processes.
  • 3 or more years’ experience and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Minimum of 5 years product and treasury related experience with proven ability to service the industry vertical.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains profitable Banking relationships within the mortgage ecosystem.
  • Effectively expands/ deepens existing business relationships for this multi-billion-dollar third party servicing industry.
  • Meets with business owners to build strong relationships, understand their business needs, recommends business solutions from across the bank and negotiations pricing and fees.
  • Works well within a team environment and collaborates closely with internal partners to deliver customer solutions.
  • Boards all new relationships, working effectively with internal teams which include compliance, operations and treasury.
  • Understanding of Tri-party agreements which include: DACA/CMA/Waterfall maintenance.
  • Monitors daily overdrafts, no activity, daily balances, rate pricing accuracy, ongoing fee pricing, account analysis accuracy, wire activity and potential errors that may arise.
  • Attends monthly client calls with customer and daily/weekly/monthly internal calls as needed.
  • Ability to manage all internal bank systems: Hogan, ESS, Tremolo SharePoint, HAWC, CBS, BOL, Docusign, MAX, and Workday for efficient ongoing maintenance of customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
