About The Position

The Associate Director, SIOP & Materials Management Transformation, will support the SIOP & Materials Management organization in developing and executing strategies that will further enhance Collins’ business performance transformation initiatives. This role focuses on analysis, development, and execution of projects to achieve long-term strategic goals and business optimization. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic and execution mindset, deep expertise in operations, the aerospace and manufacturing industries, and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
  • 4+ years of prior SIOP or materials management or supply chain or manufacturing experience
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in project management
  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization
  • This position requires a U.S. Person.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA or Master’s preferred
  • Prior leadership experience and team management capabilities
  • Experience with data analysis and forecasting tools
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute projects, acting as the central lead for scope, schedule, and team management through completion
  • Lead and support project teams within SIOP & Materials Management and partner with other functions (Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and Digital Technology) and functional partners (Human Resources) to ensure alignment throughout the transformation
  • Monitor progress, review deliverables, and ensure compliance with standards
  • Host regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
  • Identify potential issues, assess impacts, and create contingency plans as required
  • Conduct post project evaluations to identify strengths and opportunities
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time (domestic & international)
