About The Position

The Associate Director will lead all CS Core activities, to include training of statewide Community Services Educators, care plan audits, planning and execution of statewide continuing education trainings and/or workshops, and ongoing operational meetings. Associate Director will ensure all Core activities align with GMN mission and adhere to objectives and reported measures of GMN Work Plan and will lead strategic planning with regard to community and MAC/CSE partnerships. Position supports faculty from across SOM and SON, coordinates closely with Emory Cognitive Clinic social work and related staff/programs across the Goizueta Brain Health Institute.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in field related to specific program as indicated and five years program related experience, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • Working knowledge of the Georgia Memory Net infrastructure, operations, and state agency partnerships.

  • Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the strategic planning, development, and implementation of program.
  • Collaborates with representatives from private, government, and international agencies.
  • Represents the program in various national and international fora.
  • Conducts research, designs new initiatives, writes publishable articles and papers, collaborates with others, and designs programs.
  • May supervise staff.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
