About The Position

IQVIA Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Program Management to join their team. This role involves planning, developing, coordinating, and assisting with project activities throughout all project phases. The Associate Director will be responsible for allocating, obtaining, and managing resources and project management tools to achieve project objectives. They will also create and implement assessment processes to ensure timely program completion according to standards, define and validate project/program scope, plan, and schedule for complex projects, and establish metrics for project success. The role requires managing the project delivery process, scope, and costs of complex projects with minimal supervision, driving project completion, and mentoring other team members. Additionally, the Associate Director will establish partnerships with stakeholders to build support, secure sponsorship, and ensure alignment for project outcomes. They will drive change by identifying project impacts, building awareness and support within the organization, and contributing to training development. Finally, they will evaluate project results against success metrics and create or reengineer processes and resources to improve productivity and product.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent.
  • Requires five (5) years of progressively responsible software project management experience.
  • Requires five (5) years with leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics.
  • Requires five (5) years utilizing Agile development framework to drive and complete overall process improvement and project management responsibilities.
  • Requires five (5) years with strategic program planning, stakeholder alignment, and risk management to ensure successful outcomes across cross-functional teams.
  • Requires five (5) years integrating Agile and traditional delivery approaches to maximize business value.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and assist with project activities through all project phases.
  • Allocate, obtain, and manage resources and project management tools to achieve project objectives.
  • Create and implement assessment processes to enforce timely completion of programs in accordance with established standards and requirements.
  • Define and validate the project/program scope, plan, and schedule for complex projects.
  • Define metrics for project success.
  • Select and apply standards (e.g., delivery process, roles and responsibilities, operational norms, compliance).
  • Identify risks to program success and create mitigation plans, track portfolio performance indicators.
  • Manage project delivery process, scope, and costs of complex projects with minimal supervision, drive completion of the project and mentor other team members.
  • Establish partnerships with stakeholders to build support, secure sponsorship, and ensure alignment for project outcomes, end products, and/or solutions.
  • Drive change by identifying impacts of the project, building awareness and support for change within the organization, and contributing to the development of training.
  • Evaluate project results against success metrics.
  • Create or reengineer processes and resources to improve productivity and product.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $154,465 - $228,700/year.
