This is a contract role for an independent professional interested in temporary or project-based work. The project is for 6 months, with up to 30 hours a week, requiring availability during business hours (9 AM - 5 PM EST). The role is a fixed-fee project, not hourly, with compensation determined by experience, skills, and agreed-upon scope and deliverables. The position is located in New York, NY or Remote. As Associate Director of Paid Media & Growth, you will drive growth across paid channels for several clients, owning strategy and execution across Paid Search (Google, Bing) and Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, YouTube), with oversight of programmatic, and bridging into adjacent growth levers like CRO, landing page optimization, and measurement. This is a hands-on role for a senior practitioner who is still in-platform regularly, building, launching, optimizing, and reporting on campaigns themselves, while collaborating with and providing top-level direction for the Paid Media team. You'll report to the Senior Director of Paid Media and partner cross-functionally with creative and analytics teams, as well as senior client stakeholders to translate performance into clear growth narratives, budgets, forecasts, and roadmaps that connect spend to business outcomes. This is a freelance role covering parental leave, with potential to convert to full-time pending business needs.
