About The Position
The Dual Associate Director of Sales and Marketing will support the sales and marketing efforts for Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn – located in Austin NW (managed by Dimension Hospitality). This role partners closely with the Dual Director of Sales and Marketing to maximize revenue, grow market share, and strengthen client relationships. The position plays a key role in business development, account management, sales leadership, and strategic planning while helping both hotels achieve their revenue and profitability goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hotel sales experience, including progressive leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of hotel sales, revenue management principles, and market segmentation strategies
- Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue goals and sales targets
- Strategic, organized, and results-oriented
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with hotel sales systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Ability to support sales efforts across multiple hotel properties
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to travel locally for client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities as needed
- Must be flexible to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Senior Sales Manager, Sales Manager, or similar hospitality sales role preferred
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop and execute sales strategies that drive occupancy, ADR, and revenue growth across two hotel properties
- Support and mentor Sales Managers to achieve individual and team sales goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel managers, meeting planners, and key clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research
- Conduct site tours, sales presentations, and client meetings to generate new and repeat business
- Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and secure group, corporate, leisure, and event business
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing, Catering, and Operations teams to maximize hotel performance
- Represent both hotels at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and community activities
- Monitor sales performance, booking pace, and forecast reports to measure success and recommend improvements
- Assist in preparing annual sales plans, budgets, and revenue projections
- Maintain accurate account records and sales activities within CRM and hotel management systems
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to develop long-term client partnerships
