DUAL DIRECTOR OF SALES AND MARKETING
About The Position
The Dual Director of Sales and Marketing for Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn, both located in Austin, NW (managed by Dimension Hospitality), will have the opportunity to shape the success of two premier hotel properties. This leadership role combines strategic planning, relationship building, and revenue generation as you drive sales performance, develop innovative marketing strategies, and create new business opportunities. Working closely with hotel leadership teams, you will play a critical role in growing market share, maximizing revenue, and positioning both hotels as preferred destinations in the Austin market.
Requirements
- Previous hotel sales leadership experience required
- Multi-property experience preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic, organized, and results-oriented
- Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a sales team
- Comfortable with public presentations, networking, and client outreach
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of market trends, revenue management, and hotel sales strategies
- Experience managing corporate, group, leisure, and local negotiated accounts preferred
- Ability to effectively manage priorities across multiple hotel locations
- Valid driver's license required
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily sales and marketing activities for two hotel properties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals across both hotels
- Oversee marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and brand positioning efforts
- Manage key accounts and cultivate strong relationships with corporate, group, and community partners
- Prospect for new business opportunities and expand market share within each property's target segments
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and business performance to identify growth opportunities
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, reports, and performance updates for hotel leadership
- Represent both hotels at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and community activities
- Ensure accurate contracts, proposals, and client communications
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure successful execution of group events and guest experiences
- Recruit, coach, and develop sales team members to maximize performance and accountability
- Collaborate with revenue management and hotel leadership teams to optimize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR
