About The Position

The Associate Director of Human Resources is responsible for supporting the strategic direction and daily operations of the Human Resources department. This role partners closely with executive leadership, department leaders, and employees to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, compliance, talent management, and operational excellence across all areas of HR. The Associate Director serves as a trusted advisor to leadership while also providing hands-on support in employee relations, performance management, policy administration, compliance, workforce planning, and organizational development. The Associate Director of Human Resources assists in developing and implementing HR strategies, programs, and initiatives that align with organizational goals and promote a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience handling sensitive employee relations and compliance matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Prior leadership or management experience within Human Resources strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-state operations preferred.
