About The Position

The Associate Director of Enrollment Systems and Research provides leadership for the College of Law’s admissions data, systems, and analytics in support of recruitment, enrollment, and retention goals. This position oversees enrollment reporting, institutional research, and CRM-driven communications while serving as the functional lead for admissions systems and data infrastructure. The role is responsible for integrating and maintaining data across enterprise platforms—including the College of Law application system and the University’s student information system—to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting. The Associate Director analyzes enrollment trends, develops forecasts and dashboards, supports strategic enrollment management initiatives, and delivers actionable insights to senior leadership. In collaboration with admissions staff, institutional partners, and external vendors, the position advances data-informed decision-making, optimizes recruitment communications, supports accreditation and survey reporting, and strengthens the College of Law’s analytical capacity and enrollment technology environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
• Experience in Excel for data analysis and advanced Excel skills (Pivot table, data visualization) required
• Experience with SQL Server required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Quantitative research or data analysis is required.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in the use of statistical analysis packages (SPSS, SAS, R, Rapid Insight and Veera) or similar preferred.
• Proficient in web content management systems (WEB garage,etc.) preferred.
• Master's degree strongly preferred in higher education administration, statistics, planning, or research or another related field.
• A minimum of three to five years of work in a higher education environment is strongly preferred.
• Marketing or data research experience in higher education strongly preferred.
• Marketing research experience preferred.
• Experience in demonstrated knowledge of higher education administration and academic functions, querying databases, copy and report writing, survey research, and the use of descriptive and inferential statistics in decision support and institutional research.
• Advanced technological skills, including facility with data systems related to data and information (experience with Banner is strongly preferred).
• Experience in a highly collaborative environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead admissions and enrollment data strategy, including reporting, yield analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling to support recruitment, enrollment, and retention goals.
• Oversee recruitment communications and inbound marketing operations, ensuring effective coordination of digital and print messaging aligned with the admissions communication plan and calendar.
• Serve as functional lead for CRM and marketing platforms (Unite and HubSpot), including workflow design, audience segmentation, content management, and campaign execution.
• Guide recruitment staff in the effective use of CRM tools for scheduled and ad hoc communications; evaluate campaign performance, return on investment (ROI), and web analytics to optimize recruitment outcomes.
• Perform admissions and enrollment reporting and analysis; develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators to support strategic enrollment management.
• Act as liaison between Admissions, the College of Law web team, and external vendors/consultants to support marketing analysis, recruitment strategy, and system optimization.
• Utilize and integrate multiple enterprise systems and tools—including Ellucian Banner, Unite, HubSpot, ARGOS (Data Block Designer), and statistical analysis software—to support enrollment management initiatives.
• Oversee data integration between the College of Law application system (Unite) and the University’s student information system (Ellucian Banner), including managing data imports and exports, reconciliation and validation processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, resolving discrepancies, troubleshooting issues, and participating in system upgrades and testing in collaboration with IT partners.
• Extract, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple sources to support student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and institutional decision-making.
• Collect, maintain, and disseminate statistical data and reports related to enrollment, matriculation, demographics, student success indicators, benchmarking, and institutional effectiveness.
• Lead institutional research functions for the College of Law, supporting planning, assessment, budgeting, accreditation, and strategic initiatives.
• Serve as the liaison to the University’s Office of Institutional Research.
• Conduct descriptive and multivariate analyses using statistical tools such as SAS, R, SPSS, etc.
• Prepare and submit institutional survey responses and reporting, including American Bar Association (ABA) and U.S. News & World Report data.
• Provide senior leadership with enrollment and bar examination passage analyses, including reporting for the Dean Vice Dean, and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
• Facilitate annual reporting of strategic goals, metrics, and outcomes for College of Law leadership.
• Proactively identify emerging data needs and respond to internal and external ad hoc reporting requests.
• Use institutional data, peer benchmarks, and best practices to advise administrators and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster collaborative working relationships across departments and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
