Associate Director of Development

About The Position
The Associate Director of Development identifies, cultivates, and solicits Arts and Sciences prospects for major gifts. The position works collaboratively with the Foundation team, takes an active role in working with a board and/or special initiative, and reports directly to a senior member of the development team at the Arts and Sciences Foundation.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and presentational skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computer-related office tools and database management.
- Strong personal integrity and work ethic.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality and ethics.
Nice To Haves
- Three or more years of development, sales, or related experience.
- Experience in a university or major college setting.
- A successful track record in closing annual, major, and planned gifts.
- Comprehensive campaign experience.
