The Associate Director of Clinical Learning provides strategic leadership, oversight, and operational management of all clinical education activities across FVI’s nursing programs. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, compliance, and effectiveness of clinical learning experiences, including direct patient care experiences, simulation-based education, skills development, and clinical partner engagement. The Associate Director collaborates with academic leadership, faculty, clinical partners, and regulatory agencies to ensure clinical education aligns with program outcomes, accreditation standards, state and federal regulations, and best practices in nursing education. This position oversees clinical placement strategy, faculty support, student clinical readiness, and the continuous improvement of clinical learning environments that promote student success and workforce preparedness.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing and/or nursing education experience.
  • Experience in clinical instruction, faculty development, or clinical education leadership.
  • Experience managing clinical learning environments and student clinical performance.
  • Knowledge of nursing accreditation, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of clinical nursing education principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of nursing accreditation standards and state regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to lead multiple initiatives and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and educational technology platforms.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement continuous quality improvement strategies
