Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of marketing operations, revenue operations, in a mid market ($100–$1B) organization, including 1-3 years supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of CRM and marketing automation systems (Salesforce and Pardot/Account Engagement preferred).
  • Experience building scalable systems and processes to support organizational growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with Sales, IT, and executive teams.
  • Ability to lead a small team while remaining hands on in key operational areas.

  • Experience with AI or machine learning enhanced marketing tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day marketing operations, ensuring projects and initiatives are organized, tracked, and consistently moving forward while removing blockers and facilitating communication across the marketing department.
  • Build and manage a centralized project management system that serves as the single source of truth for marketing activities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor team-wide progress against marketing plans and priorities, identifying risks, dependencies, or misalignments and partnering with leadership to course-correct.
  • Coordinate and align ongoing initiatives across the full marketing team (including digital, content, creative, and events) ensuring teams have what they need to execute.
  • Provide strategic and hands-on operational support for conference and event planning and execution alignment with business objectives. Collaborate closely with the event lead, ensuring they have the resources, guidance, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Lead and mentor a small Marketing Operations team, scaling capabilities as the company grows.
  • Establish clear expectations, KPIs, performance standards, and growth plans for team members.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement through regular feedback, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing projects from intake through completion, ensuring clear ownership, deadlines, and accountability.
  • Develop and implement standardized workflows, templates, and processes to improve team efficiency and reduce operational friction.
  • Support the adoption of AI‑enabled tools to enhance productivity, campaign performance, and operational stability.
  • Facilitate project reviews and alignment meetings that keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Engage in campaigns from the earliest stages of strategic planning, ensuring goals, objectives, and success criteria are clearly defined and aligned across stakeholders before work begins.
  • Manage campaign workflows from strategy through creative development, approvals, launch, and post launch review.
  • Coordinate campaign launch logistics across all relevant teams and platforms, managing assets, checklists, and dependencies to ensure flawless execution.
  • Track campaign milestones and post-launch checkpoints, facilitating reviews that surface insights and inform real-time optimization decisions.
  • Lead post-campaign retrospectives to capture key learnings, document outcomes, and apply findings to future campaign planning and process improvement.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for marketing vendors, agencies, and technology platforms, ensuring commitments are met and value is delivered.
  • Partner with procurement and finance as needed to support vendor contracts and budget tracking.
  • Provide operational support to Marketing leadership, by tracking priorities, preparing updates, and facilitating cross-functional communications.
  • Support planning cycles by coordinating inputs across the team and ensuring leadership has a clear, consolidated view of marketing activities.
  • Represent Marketing Operations in cross-functional meetings and serve as an escalation point for operational issues.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Business Development leadership to translate company level goals into actionable marketing operational plans.
  • Assist Marketing leadership with tracking and forecasting the marketing operations budget.
  • Monitor vendor and technology spend and support ROI analysis and optimization efforts.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
