About The Position

The Associate Director, Learning & Development and Sales Execution, Canada will play a collaborative role within the Sales Department. This individual will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs for the Canada sales organization. This role focuses on enhancing the skills and knowledge of the commercial field team through new hire training, in-person field rides, coaching, and special training initiatives that meet the dynamic needs of the business. This individual will also work closely with the Canadian Senior Director, Sales and cross functional partners in Canada, North America, and Global to operationalize plans & resources in the field, monitor results and support the Canadian Sales organization in achieving business objectives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience working in dynamic and fast-paced environments
  • Possess the ability to manage project teams
  • 3-5+ years Hematology/Oncology Sales Experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills who can influence at all levels of the Organization
  • Thinks strategically
  • Capability of analyzing big data and extracting critical insights
  • Sales Management and/or Training Experience
  • Strong facilitation skills and understanding of adult learning principles to engage adult learners
  • Experience in selling and training oncology/hematology sales teams with a large degree of a cross functional collaboration
  • Ability to translate clinical concepts with marketing message to execute learning programs
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian regulatory environment
  • Able to navigate applicable standard operating procedures
  • Team focused approach is essential while able to work independently in a remote role

Responsibilities

  • Delivers innovative training programs that prepares BeOne Medicines field sales teams and the larger Canadian Commercial organization for long-term success in the hematology/oncology marketplace
  • Delivers world-class training for new hires and tenured representatives throughout the calendar year including Initial Sales Training, Division Meetings, Regional Sales Meetings, Launch Meetings and National Meetings. Includes in-person and virtual training.
  • Develops training programs & materials that are based on quantitative and qualitative marketplace, customer, and employee insights and meet the requirements of the Canadian review committee(s) that will approve these materials
  • Collaborates with Global and North America counterparts to localize (ie. Adaptation based on local product labeling, coordination & seeking approval from review committee) training material where it exists
  • Collaborating with the Senior Sales Director to develop, deliver and facilitate in-person training initiatives in response to emerging business needs and opportunities to drive increased performance across Canada
  • Conducts one-to-one field rides with new and existing representatives for real-time pull-through of training initiatives that includes role-play and individualized business planning
  • Assists in coaching to requisite disease-state, product knowledge, skillsets or business acumen and evaluates additional training needs
  • Provides written and actionable feedback and coaching on observed skills and knowledge
  • Monitors and analyzes national and regional performance and develops just-in-time training based on gaps identified to pull-through
  • The Leader will help to maximize sales force effectiveness through strategic planning, execution and pull-through
  • Assist the Senior Director, Sales in the day-to-day operations and planning efforts related to the field sales force
  • Identify and deploy additional field resources to support the Salesforce requirements to help the Salesforce meet the needs of customers
  • Partner with Business Operations to help analyze key market data to understand how to best optimize the deployment and alignment of the sales force
  • Partner with individual Regional Managers in the planning of activities and to support the approval flow of projects requiring compliance review & approval
  • Participate in cross-functional brand and disease area teams with responsibility for learning & development projects & materials
  • Ensures compliance with Canadian pharmacovigilance regulations, including the reporting of adverse drug reactions and product quality complaints
