LillyDirect is a digital healthcare experience launched in January 2024 to support people in the United States living with obesity, migraine, and diabetes. Lilly aims to improve patient access to care, reduce healthcare costs, and enable better outcomes by expanding its offerings and scaling operations. The Associate Director, Integration of Automation Pharmacist delivers the automation and system-integration work needed to scale LillyDirect Pharmacy and serves as the pharmacy's technical authority on automation validation. The role turns the automation and integration roadmap into working capability by defining requirements, configuring and validating changes, managing releases and change control with Lilly IT and technology partners, and measuring whether automation reduces manual work and rework. The pharmacist determines whether automation involving prescription data passes validation before release and recommends roadmap sequencing and priorities to pharmacy leadership. Portfolio priorities and final technology sign-off remain with pharmacy leadership; pharmacy management system optimization belongs to a separate position. Because the work involves prescription data and verification workflows, the role requires pharmacist licensure and judgment about the safety and correctness of automated outputs before production. The pharmacist also retains capacity to verify prescriptions when needed. The position works scheduled Monday-through-Friday shifts according to the pharmacy scheduler, with at least three days onsite each week and up to two remote days when appropriate, consistent with Lilly's remote work policy.
