The role primarily partners with senior sales executives to create and implement sales activities around investment strategies, market dynamics, and competitive positioning to drive sales and accelerate revenue growth of the North American Institutional team. This role contributes to the development and execution of a strategic sales plan to increase assets from institutional investors in North America. It involves researching the asset allocation, investment structures, decision making, and key criteria of prospective institutional investors for meeting preparation and advancement of sales plans. Performing quantitative, competitive and performance analysis in partnership with institutional team members, investment professionals, senior management, risk, and other teams to advance and support the sales process is also a key responsibility. The role requires inputting, updating, and documenting all elements of the sales process (including activity, contacts, opportunities, and sales pipelines) within the CRM system. Additionally, the Associate Director will take ownership and responsibility for the completion and accuracy of sales-related deliverables and marketing content including RFPs, presentations, and thought leadership. All these responsibilities require establishing and building relationships with internal teams and external firms that are essential partners to effectively achieve objectives. Other duties as assigned will also be part of the role.
