The Associate Director (AD), Health Informatics is a field-based role that works with the Account Management Team. The position holder would work across the portfolio with key customers to ensure that all customer facing resources can be integrated into an EHR platform to support patient care. This role is the key orchestrator (leader) on the Account Team for customer focused population health initiatives directed at optimizing EHR capabilities. This position will serve to facilitate health information technology systems and processes relating to the Electronic Health Record (EHR). This role facilitates the utilization of health information technology tools within a healthcare organization and provides an understanding on executing EHR capabilities to manage chronic populations. This includes but is not limited to patient care workflow, system architectures and organizing structures. Internally, this role will serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and utilize knowledge and skills to aid Boehringer in navigating EHR systems to achieve business goals and objectives. This role will address, identify, and create solutions for strategic process planning, internal change management, workflow, and process redesign. The incumbent will lead specific projects and programs to advance productivity by improving the effectiveness of customer interactions and evolving customer models as well as assisting in the successful application of multi-channel/digital promotion channels. The Health Informatics colleague will be specifically charged with helping to build organizational capabilities that drive adaption of the commercial model in response to the role of EHRs in the US healthcare landscape.
