The Associate Director of Government Accounts assists in providing leadership, management, financial accountability, compliance, planning, and oversight to the assigned Government Accounts team. This position is directly responsible for establishing and achieving Revenue and Margin goals for Cooperative Purchasing and other solutions. The role involves managing a team to achieve P&L goals, developing Go-To-Market plans, and managing budgets for assigned accounts. It also includes managing team members' activities, ensuring compliance with program documents, and cultivating strong relationships with participating agencies. The position requires managing the sales process from outreach to adoption, ensuring high-touch support, and developing procedures for positive agency experiences. Training the team, developing account plans, and coordinating with other teams are also key responsibilities. The Associate Director will supervise, develop, train, and mentor assigned staff, provide direction and actionable goals, and collaborate with the Director of Government Accounts to identify staffing needs. They will also manage hiring, training, and onboarding processes, and embody Sourcewell's values of Seek, Empower, and Impact. Additionally, the role involves representing Sourcewell and Government Accounts at internal and external events, including conferences and trade shows.
