About The Position

This role is for an Associate Director, Go-To-Market and Field Strategy within EMD Serono's Healthcare division, focusing on Oncology, Neurology, and Fertility therapeutic areas. The position involves translating ambition and strategy into execution by representing field needs to brand teams and ensuring the deployment of critical resources. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare industry, or consulting
  • Advanced computer skills – excellent knowledge and experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Deep expertise with data and reporting/analysis tools
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM technology relevant to Customer Facing Teams
  • Proven skills leading multiple impactful cross functional projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and optimize Go-to-market (GTM) plans for new and existing products, tracking performance via KPIs and adjusting based on results.
  • Build and maintain targeting models (segmentation, tiering, valuation) and produce quarterly target lists to optimize resource allocation.
  • Support the key account management program by improving tools, capabilities, and processes to strengthen account plans and outcomes.
  • Analyze market/sales dynamics to design and implement territory structures, manage change rollout, and continuously optimize coverage and productivity.
  • Deliver analyses of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics to inform decisions.
  • Provide insights and analytics to support annual brand planning and in-year pull-through.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with clear plans, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
  • Develop high-impact presentations and facilitate meetings/workshops (e.g., POAs, summits) to align teams and drive execution.
  • Serve as a liaison across Sales, Marketing, and Operations, synthesizing field and research insights into planning and priorities.
