About The Position

The Associate Director, Fund Management is responsible for the financial stewardship, administration, and oversight of restricted and temporarily restricted funds, ensuring compliance with donor intent, grant requirements, and organizational policies. This role partners closely with Foundation leadership, hospital departments, finance, and program managers to monitor fund utilization, analyze financial performance, and ensure philanthropic resources are managed effectively in support of the organization's mission. The Associate Director oversees fund management processes, including monitoring expenditures, reviewing donor gift agreements, managing budgets, preparing financial analyses and reports, and coordinating annual grant administration. This position serves as a key liaison between the Foundation and hospital partners, ensuring funding commitments are fulfilled, financial information is accurate and timely, and donor-funded programs remain compliant with organizational and audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in performing financial accounting functions and office administrative functions.
  • Associate degree in Finance, Business Administration. Equivalent professional experience accepted in lieu of education.
  • Able to read; write and speak with professional quality.
  • Use computer and software programs necessary to the position, e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access.
  • Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position.
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
  • Provide leadership.
