About The Position

The Associate Director, Encounter Data Management develops business processes to ensure successful submission and reconciliation of encounter submissions to Medicaid/Medicare. Ensures encounter submissions meet or exceed all compliance standards via analysis of data, and develops tools to enhance the encounter acceptance rate by Medicaid/Medicare. Looks for long term improvements of encounter submission processes. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s), and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates. This position reports to the Director, Encounter Data Management. The Associate Director, Encounter Data Management ensures data integrity for claims errors. The Associate Director, Encounter Data Management requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s).

Requirements

• 4 years of product management leadership experience
• 2 years of agile leadership experience
• 4 years of people‑leadership or team management experience
• 2 years of project management leadership experience
• Self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
