Louisiana State University invites applications for the position of Associate Director, Employer Development and Relations within the LSU Olinde Career Center (OCC). Reporting to the Senior Director, this position serves on the leadership team of the LSU Olinde Career Center and has primary responsibility for all employer relations and the employer outreach strategy for the office. The Associate Director, Employer Development and Relations plays a critical role in managing the execution of the university’s centralized career services function. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE Leads the Employer Development and Relations team to strategically identify, cultivate, strengthen, and evaluate employer relationships to maximize student career opportunities. Directly supervises the Manager of Events, Manager of Employer Development, and On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator to provide comprehensive services to employers who seek to recruit talent through LSU. The Associate Director will lead the development of a strategy to increase the number of part-time jobs, internships, co-ops, and full-time positions available to LSU students. This work will require the Associate Director to evaluate and expand existing employer relationships, assess gaps in industry, and create an outreach framework that drives measurable growth in the volume and breadth of opportunities.
