Requirements

  • 8+ years of B2B content strategy experience, with senior ownership of enterprise, technology, or similarly complex accounts.
  • Proven ability to build and run content programs, owning strategy and operations rather than simply contributing to an established approach.
  • Experience managing or mentoring writers, with a track record of developing talent and elevating creative quality.
  • Deep understanding of technical and executive audiences across cloud, SaaS, enterprise technology, or similarly complex B2B environments.
  • Strong client presence and executive communication skills, with the confidence to lead a room, challenge constructively, and build trust with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong channel expertise, with the ability to connect content strategy across creative, design, media, and channel execution.
  • Experience using performance data to inform B2B content strategy and make thoughtful recommendations.
  • Highly organized and operationally minded, with the ability to manage complex workstreams, priorities, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling recommendations.

  • Direct experience working with AWS, Azure, GCP, or another enterprise cloud brand.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the content strategy across inbound and outbound channels, including web, email, paid and organic social, display, white papers, ebooks, and newsletters. Build the approach from the ground up and align it to business priorities, audience needs, and the customer journey.
  • Develop editorial frameworks, content architecture, and planning systems that scale across solution areas, audience segments, and channels. Own the editorial calendar, content cadence, and strategic themes.
  • Facilitate strategic planning with senior client stakeholders, translating business priorities into clear content, channel, media, and communication strategies. Serve as the senior content voice in client meetings, presenting recommendations, incorporating feedback, and driving alignment.
  • Bring structure and momentum to cross-functional teams, partnering with leadership, channel, campaign, and content studio teams to move work forward. Develop creative briefs and manage BOM assets to translate strategy into execution.
  • Establish B2B content measurement frameworks and use performance data to identify what’s working, uncover opportunities, and continuously improve the content program.
  • Proactively identify gaps, emerging opportunities, and new ways to strengthen the client’s content ecosystem. Stay ahead of trends across cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, developer tools, and enterprise technology.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $70-$85 hourly for temporary-to-perm
  • Annual base salary range upon converting to full time 3-6 months into the role: $145k to $170k
  • Compensation for each opportunity is determined based on the applicable labor market, the scope and structure of the role or engagement, and the individual’s qualifications and experience.
