About The Position

The Associate Director, Change Management and Governance plays a key role in enabling and advancing strategic and transformational initiatives across the organization. You will lead the development and execution of enterprise change management strategies, governance frameworks, and capability-building programs that support successful adoption of new ways of working, business processes, technologies, and organizational priorities. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, project sponsors, and business partners, you will establish and evolve the Change Management Centre of Excellence, strengthen organizational change capabilities, and create governance, reporting, and measurement frameworks that provide visibility into enterprise-wide change initiatives. This role is responsible for driving change adoption, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the organization is equipped to navigate complex transformation programs successfully.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Change Management, transformation, project governance, organizational effectiveness, or large-scale business change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering directly with senior executives, sponsors, and business leaders to drive successful organizational change.
  • Proven success leading complex enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and driving sustainable adoption of new ways of working.
  • Experience designing and implementing change management frameworks, governance models, reporting structures, and performance metrics.
  • Strong expertise in stakeholder engagement, communications planning, training enablement, and resistance management.
  • Exceptional facilitation, coaching, consulting, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling capabilities, including experience translating complex information into actionable insights and executive-level reporting.
  • Experience operating in complex, fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent priorities and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behaviour, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a customer-centric environment.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci) is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide change management strategies and plans that support strategic, operational, cultural, and technology-driven transformations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executives, sponsors, and project leaders, providing guidance on change leadership, stakeholder engagement, and adoption strategies.
  • Lead and evolve the Change Management Centre of Excellence, enabling best practices, tools, methodologies, and organizational capability development.
  • Design and implement governance frameworks, reporting models, and performance metrics that provide leadership visibility into enterprise change initiatives.
  • Conduct enterprise change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses to identify risks, readiness levels, and adoption requirements.
  • Develop and execute integrated change plans encompassing communications, training, sponsorship, adoption, and resistance management activities.
  • Partner closely with project teams, Communications, Learning & Development, and business leaders to ensure change management activities are embedded throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and reporting processes to measure change effectiveness, adoption, and business outcomes.
  • Drive organizational change capability through coaching, mentoring, facilitation, and the delivery of learning and upskilling programs.
  • Enable innovation with automation, AI, and modern Change Management practices to enhance organizational effectiveness.
