About The Position

The Associate Director - Business Systems Analysis within the Individual Marketplace Line of Business at Willis Towers Watson US LLC in Buffalo, New York, will shape and deliver cyber security programs that enhance value, security, agility, and efficiency. This role provides strategic direction and recommendations to improve WTW's overall security posture, proactively identifying areas for intervention to ensure successful program outcomes. The position requires collaboration with operational stakeholders for effective delivery, issue resolution, and change management. Responsibilities include assessing training needs, aligning communications, coaching colleagues, and coordinating with internal/external teams, suppliers, and vendors. The role also involves coordinating with legal, contracting, procurement, finance, and communications departments for successful project rollouts, presenting cybersecurity program status reports to senior management, and using data to quantify risk reduction and program status. Metrics and artifacts supporting audit activities will be provided. The Associate Director will align the cybersecurity program with business objectives by developing comprehensive strategies and tactics, working with accountable executives and program leads on global change strategies, and designing rollout plans. Support will be provided to business teams in developing their own change plans, including site discovery, technical inventories, and analysis. Ensuring operational readiness and conducting post-implementation reviews are key. The role involves leading project workstream workshops/meetings, ensuring actions are agreed upon, responsibilities assigned, deadlines set, and remediation activity tracked. Reporting and tracking to sponsors and executive teams will be provided.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related information technology field, plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Developer/DevOps engineer or related role -- OR -- Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related information technology field, plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Developer/DevOps engineer or a related role.
  • Project management experience with large change projects within a global corporate function, including the delivery of new technology to end users and supporting a wider program of work.
  • Experience with Enterprise identity and access management solutions.
  • Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Ariba, CI/CD, automation
  • Enterprise Tooling focused on monitoring and insights for on-premises, cloud and global network environments, Service Desk operations
  • SOX, SOC, HIPAA, FIM/SIM, vulnerability management
  • CSM or CSPO certification required
