About The Position

The Associate Director, Actuarial Analytics/Forecasting analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. You will establish metrics, provide data analyses, and work directly to support business intelligence. You will evaluate industry, economic, financial, operational, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position. The Associate Director, Actuarial Analytics/Forecasting requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s). The Associate Director, Actuarial Analytics/Forecasting reports to the Director, Actuarial Analytics/Forecasting and will oversee, develop, and communicate results of complex models and analytics in support of primary care organization reserve development. This role ensures data integrity through effective controls and processes, partners with stakeholders to solve business challenges, oversees and performs root cause analysis of trend and restatement drivers, and develops cost-effective solutions to complex operational and technical problems. The position leads a team of specialized actuarial and analytics professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • FSA or ASA plus relevant advanced degree, extensive work experience, and/or other relevant professional designations
  • MAAA
  • Demonstrated leadership capability
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
  • Experience in more than three functions (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving or trending) and more than one product
