About The Position

The Associate Direct Support Manager helps manage operations for Residential and Day Services Programs. The role coordinates activities, supports people served with daily living, documents their progress, helps maintain facilities and transportation vehicles, and assists with meal preparation. The position also monitors health and safety and ensures living environments and program activities comply with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in medication administration, CPR, and first aid; these certifications can be obtained after hire.
At least one year of experience working in a related field.

Responsibilities

Monitor the health and safety of individuals served and ensure living environments and program activities comply with regulatory requirements.
Assist with managing residential or day services operations, including coordinating activities, supporting individuals with activities of daily living, and scheduling staff.
Cover staff shortages, administer medications, and participate in individual program planning teams.
Assist with planning and preparing meals and snacks, following diet orders and kitchen sanitation procedures.
Support people served in identifying and achieving personal outcomes important to them.
Maintain detailed documentation of activities and developmental progress, including accurate electronic records.
Intervene in aggressive or inappropriate behavior and implement behavior programs and strategies when appropriate.
Handle house petty cash and individual finances, including purchasing groceries or supplies as needed.
Oversee maintenance of residential facilities and transportation vehicles.
