About The Position

The firm is currently looking for Associates to join the Diligence & Growth Strategy (DGS) team within Onsite, Insight's team of experts that supports diligence and deal selection and serves as a strategic partner for portfolio companies. This hybrid role spans both deal work and portfolio operations and strategy. As an Associate, you will work on diligence for new investments as well as collaborate with key company executives to help them scale up and accelerate growth. This role will give exposure to investment decision-making to help build your deal judgment as well as practical experience in scaling high-growth software companies. Insight Onsite alumni have gone on to start companies, run growth-stage businesses (e.g. CFO, COO), become technology investors, and attend graduate school.

Requirements

Interest in technology and an excitement to work with rapidly growing companies.
Intellectual curiosity, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience managing and influencing others.
Ability to identify areas of improvement and drive outcomes that lead to better business performance.
Strong leadership and project management skills are a must.

Nice To Haves

Preference for 1-3 years of work experience (2022-2024 undergrad) in consulting, technology, or venture capital/private equity.

Responsibilities

Conduct due diligence for prospective investments, including market, competitive, and financial analysis to inform investment decisions
Lead engagements with companies owned by Insight, including advisory on core business operations, strategy, deep customer analytics, pricing, and M&A
Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and best practice sharing
