About The Position

Prairie Mall Dental Clinic is seeking an Associate Dentist to join their team for a maternity leave coverage opportunity. This position offers a built-in patient base, strong compensation, schedule flexibility, and access to mentorship and clinical support within a larger network of Grande Prairie clinics. The successful candidate will inherit an established schedule that includes recall patients, new patient exams, and ongoing treatment from a busy associate's patient base. This role is suitable for experienced clinicians seeking a locum opportunity or motivated new graduates looking for support and hands-on experience.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process.
• Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Domiciled in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry services.
• Perform bread-and-butter dentistry.
• Conduct basic endodontics.
• Perform basic oral surgery.
• Provide crown and bridge treatments.
• Offer family dentistry services.
• Administer Nitrous Sedation.
• Administer Oral Sedation.
• Administer IV Sedation.
• Manage recall patients.
• Conduct new patient exams.
• Continue ongoing treatment for existing patients.
