About The Position

Marietta Dentist is a 100% fee-for-service, out-of-network practice in Marietta, Georgia. This associate role offers a defined, optional path to partnership and ownership, with direct mentorship from the practice owner on clinical care and the business side of running a fee-for-service practice. New graduates are welcome, as are experienced associates.

The associate will provide comprehensive dentistry, including new-patient exams, preventive and periodontal care, restorative treatment, and prosthetic treatment. The role includes providing hygiene care and building long-term patient relationships. The practice has a full schedule, a team trained in case presentation and in-house patient financing, and front-office staff who handle administration. Complex endodontic, wisdom-tooth, and sedation cases remain with the owner.

Compensation is guaranteed at $850 per day for the first 90 days while ramping up, based on a four-day workweek. After 90 days, compensation is tiered at 25%–35% of collections. Lab fees are not charged on crowns or restorative work; specialty cases are excluded. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The partnership path begins with an associate period, typically years one to two, during which the dentist builds production, learns practice systems, and demonstrates clinical and cultural fit. A partnership offer may involve buying into Marietta Dentist or opening a new location together. The practice provides capital, real estate, business systems, and back-office support, while the partner provides clinical leadership. Ownership includes equity, profit share, and a say in practice operations. The associate may instead choose to remain in a long-term associate role.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree.
• Active Georgia dental license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Comfort providing hygiene and periodontal care as part of a comprehensive practice.
• Comfort diagnosing comprehensively and presenting full treatment.
• Wants to remain in one place long-term and build something.
• Coachable, high-ownership, and honest with patients and the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide new-patient examinations.
• Provide preventive and periodontal care, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance.
• Provide restorative and prosthetic treatment.

• Diagnose comprehensively and present full treatment plans to patients.
