About The Position

Orangeburg Dentistry is seeking an Associate Dentist to join its established, growing practice in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The opportunity is open to experienced clinicians and recent graduates seeking professional growth. The practice provides comprehensive, patient-centered dentistry in a welcoming, technologically advanced environment and supports providers’ professional and financial success. Technology includes CEREC and CBCT. Services include gum disease and periodontal treatments, cosmetic and pediatric dentistry, sedation dentistry, TMJ-TMD care, digital X-rays, laser dentistry, intraoral cameras, oral cancer screening, teeth whitening, SureSmile, sleep apnea and snoring prevention, and dental implants. The practice offers a platform for career growth, including a pathway to partnership, continuing education and career support, and a collaborative community of technology-driven dentists. Compensation is competitive, and a sign-on or relocation bonus of up to $40,000 may be available.

Requirements

DDS or DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
Current, valid state license to practice dentistry in good standing, or eligibility for licensure.
Certifications required by the state, including CPR and DEA credentials, as applicable.

Nice To Haves

Two years of practice experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Examine and diagnose patients, prescribe treatment, and provide or direct others in providing oral health care services that are in the patient’s best interest.
Contribute to a team-oriented, collegial environment by working with clinical and non-clinical staff as necessary.
Follow policies, protocols, and procedures in compliance with current accepted professional standards.
Improve clinical skills and knowledge through continuing education and training opportunities.
Participate in community outreach initiatives as necessary.
