About The Position

42 North Dental is a dentist-built organization focused on delivering healthy, confident smiles and advancing the practice of dentistry through innovation, collaboration, new treatments, technologies, specialties, and services. The Associate Dentist joins an established practice with a strong flow of new patients and access to in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics services.

The Dentist is responsible for the full clinical patient experience, from the initial examination and treatment plan through delivery of care. The position offers access to continuing education, professional development, and opportunities to help shape the organization throughout one’s career. Compensation is listed at $50,000–$125,000 annually, with the opportunity to earn up to 36% of collections.

Requirements

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA).
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients about oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients’ oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain, and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor the growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide appropriate restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices, and standards of care through continuing education and professional development.
